I. OBJECTIVES
A. Content Standards The learner demonstrates an understanding of the concepts and underlying principles in performing measurements and
calculations.
B. Performance Standards The learner independently performs accurate measurements and calculation based on given tasks.
C. Learning Competencies/
Objectives
1. Identify object or component to be
measured
2. Choose test instruments to be used for
specific tasks
3. Identify alternative measuring tools without
sacrificing cost and quality of work
(TLE_IAEI7/8MC-0c-1)
II. CONTENT Measurement
III. LEARNING RESOURCES

IV. PROCEDURES/
LEARNING DELIVERY MODE
(4 A’s of Learning)
Activity:
Instruction: (Frog Jump!) The class will be
divided into two (2). First create a line on the
floor and gather a measuring tape. Now, have
your learners stand at one of the lines and jump
forward as far as they can! Now mark where they
landed with the tape. Now use the measuring
tape or push pull role to measure how far your
learners jumped, and tabulate which team have
the largest number of measurements
accumulated.
Analysis:
1. What is measurement in electrical
installation?
2. What are the measuring tools needed
to a specific job requirement?
3. How to perform measurement and
calculations?
4. Why we need to perform
measurement?
Abstraction:
1. Measurement and Calculation
2. Measuring tools and equipment
3. Proper procedure in
mensuration and calculation
Application:
Instruction: Measure the following
using the appropriate measuring tools
and equipment. Write your answer on
a sheet of paper
ASSESSMENT
(Format and Results)
Instruction: The teacher will assess
the student output with the use of
performance rubric.
See attachment.
V. REMARKS
VI. REFLECTIONS
A. No. of Learners who earned
80% in the evaluation
B. No. of Learners who require
additional activities for
remediation who scored
below 80%
C. Did the remedial lessons
work? No. of learners who
have caught up with the
lesson
D. No. of learners who continue
to require remediation
E. Which of my teaching
strategies worked well? Why
did these works?
F. What difficulties did I encounter
which my principal or
supervisor can help me solve?
G. What innovation or localized
materials did I use/discover
which I wish to share with other
teachers?
