About Playwright William Shakespeare is one of the most famous authors in English literature known for writing tragedy. He wrote at least 37 Plays during his career. His works can generally be divided into three categories,Comedies ,Tragedies and Histories. Some consider Shakespeare's play Hamlet to be one of the best ever written. Some of the most popular tragedies written by William Shakespeare. Like.Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth and King Lear. (Achyu et al. Source )

Types of Shakespearean Tragedy There are two types of Shakespearean Tragedy 1. 'Heart’ Tragedy 2. 'Head' Tragedy Heart Tragedy :- Which focuses on Love e.g., Romeo and Juliet, Antony and Cleopatra,Othello. Head Tragedy :- Main character is capable of free will and often has his positive traits overcome by ego. e.g., Othello,Cressida

Elements of Shakespearean Tragedies 1. Tragic Hero The tragic hero is usually the story's protagonist . He (rarely she ) experiences overwhelming tragic events throughout the play. Tragic heroes almost always die at the end of the play. e.g., Othello, Hemlet, Macbeth, King Lear,Julies Caesar,Romeo and Juliet , ect. (Source)

2. Conflict between good and evil Characters in Shakespearean Tragedies often have to make choices between good and evil. Being a good character does not guarantee one's survival in a tragedy, which often makes the ending of the play so painful. e.g., Othello,Macbeth, King Lear 3. Fatal flaw and Fatal Mistake Character flaws like greed or other weaknesses can lead to personal destruction. More commonly ,tragic heroes make fatal mistakes that lead them down a doomed path. e.g., Othello, Macbeth, King Lear,Romeo and Juliet (Source)

4. Death and Destruction Tragedies almost always end in death and destruction,as opposed to Comedies ,which ends with marriages . e.g., Othello, Macbeth, King Lear, Romeo and Juliet,Hemlet, Julius Caesar, etc. 5. Fate and Fortune It is often strongly implied that the characters' fates are outside of their control, giving their doom a sense of inevitability. e.g., Macbeth (Source)

6. Revenge Many Shakespearean Tragedies ,but not all, involve an element of revenge. Characters often threaten or kill one another as an attempt to avenge those who are dead. e.g., Othello, Hemlet, Macbeth. 7. Supernatural Elements Several of these plays, but not all, feature prophecies, witches , visions and ghosts. e.g., Macbeth, Julius Caesar (Source)

8. Internal Pressures "A Head Tragedy" is a story about a character whose ego or internal struggle causes his destruction. A lot of Shakespeare's tragic heroes experience internal Pressures that push them to act in destructive ways. e.g., Othello, Hemlet, Macbeth . (Source) 9. External Pressures Some characters are pushed to destruction by external, more than or as much as internal ones, including other characters or social structures that are working against the tragic hero. e.g., Macbeth . (Source)

Conclusion At the end ,we can say that 'Macbeth' play is also considers lots of elements of Shakespearean tragedy.
