DO NOT use sensitive information, such as SSN, bank PIN, etc. It is best to use combination of letters and numbers. Secure v erification questions in case you will forget your password.

How should we write e-mails?

GUIDELINES: Reflect if it is the best mode to use. Subject line must be short, simple, and straight. Keep the messages brief and straightforward (one-screen length). State your business in the first sentence of the text. Never capitalize all the letters of your text .

All though an e-mail is less formal than memo or a letter, maintain professionalism when writing one (emoticons and Internet jargons). If attaching a file, make the filename of the attached document meaningful. Never open attachments from unknown numbers.

P arts of an E- mail To : enter the exact e - mail address of your recipient (remember: [email protected] ) NOTE: For multiple recipients, separate each address with a comma CC : carbon copy ( Put the  email  address( es ) here if you are sending a copy for their information (and you want everyone to explicitly see this.) BCC : BLIND carbon cop y (Put the  email  address here if you are sending them a Copy and you do not want the other recipients to see that you sent it to this contact.) Subject : the topic of your e - mai l Body : the message of your e - mail Attachments : the paperclip symbol (for files or photos )
