1 In American workplaces, ________ is an informal term for a summer intern , usually female , who dresses in clothing more revealing than that which is common for the field in question. The term is a portmanteau of X and Y . It was first widely used about such interns working in offices of members of the U.S House of Representatives in Washington, D.C. around the mid-2000s; Advice columnist Julia Allison claims it was used in that sense as early as 2000. Since then, it has spread to other industries outside government and politics that also employ summer interns. The phenomenon is sometimes a deliberate sartorial strategy, but more often is believed to result from ignorance of accepted professional dress standards . Older women in the offices where those interns work have often responded by advising them on how to dress more appropriately. As Gloria Steinem famously said, " all women are Bunnies ," every young woman on the Hill is a “_______.“ (FITB)

3 Vummidi Bangaru Chetty , a jeweler from Chennai (then called Madras), crafted the X . It is a handcrafted, gold-plated and about five feet (1.5 m) long, and has a diameter of about three inches (76 mm) at the top and one inch (25 mm) at the bottom. X was in controversy last year due to its relation with prestigious ceremony of Chola dynasty . According to a report in Time : “ It encases a wooden staff and is surmounted by a sitting Nandi to symbolize justice and sturdiness. From Tanjore in south India came two emissaries of Sri Amblavana Desigar, head of a sannyasi order of Hindu ascetics. Sri Amblavana thought that Y , as like ancient Hindu kings, to receive the symbol of power and authority from Hindu holy men ... One sannyasi carried a sceptre of gold, five feet long, two inches thick. He sprinkled Y with holy water from Tanjore and drew a streak in sacred ash across his forehead. Then he wrapped Y in the pithambaram and handed him the golden sceptre. He also gave Nehru some cooked rice which had been offered that very morning to the dancing god Nataraja in south India, then flown by plane to Delhi. “

4 When displayed with the palm inward toward the signer, it can be an offensive gesture in some Commonwealth nations (similar to showing the middle finger), dating back to at least 1900. When given with the palm outward, it is to be read as a X sign , this usage was introduced in January 1941 as part of a campaign by the Allies of World War II , and made more widely known by Winston Churchill . During the Vietnam War , in the 1960s, the sign with palm outward was widely adopted by the counterculture as a symbol of _____. Commonly repeated legend claims that X derives from a gesture made by a particular group later evolving to Y fighting in the English army at the Battle of Agincourt (1415) during the Hundred Years' War, but no written historical primary sources support this contention. This origin legend states that English Y ( a common noun for a particular group of people) believed that those who were captured by the French had their index and middle fingers cut off so that they could no longer operate their ________ (8) , and that the X sign was used by uncaptured and victorious Y in a display of defiance against the French . 5 The quote "Remember us, for we too have lived, loved and laughed", seen on a plaque on the way to a certain place in the critically acclaimed movie ‘X’ is taken actually from USA’s Medfield's Vine Lake Cemetery . This forgotten piece of Medfield is where 841 human beings who lived at Medfield State Hospital were laid to rest, often because there was no family to take them . When Medfield State Hospital opened in May of 1896, those residents who died at the hospital and who did not have another burial location were buried in Medfield’s Vine Lake Cemetery on the knoll . Surprisingly a contest was held to come up with a quote to be used on a stone marker as a remembrance of those who died in the 1918 influenza epidemic known as the Spanish flu and were buried there . Though no one dies of Spanish flu in the movie but still metaphorically the quote suits aptly for the death of others in the film which typically was the hint for the actual story the plot revolves in . 1 In a particular scene from Season 4 , Eddie grabs his guitar and plays “X ” by the band Y , performing “the most ______(5) concert ever.” As he riffs on his guitar, the bats surrounding Vecna’s lair are lured away, leaving Steve (Joe Keery), Nancy (Natalia Dyer) and Robin (Maya Hawke) to attack the demon. “It was another one of those ‘it has to be this song,’ moments,” Felder says. “This part of the story was anticipated to be a pivotal and especially hair-raising scene in which Eddie heroically stood tall for the fight of his life. I believe the Duffer Brothers felt that playing ‘X’ throughout the extended scene was the clear choice. No other song was discussed further, Felder adds, there are similarities between Vecna and the drugs referenced in “X.” She says, “They share similarities in that they each have life-destroying powers that rob people of their essential personal powers. The aggressive up-tempo sound belies its cautionary psychological and socially conscious lyrics, which are rooted in a sensitive concern for others . In
the year of 2013 , this band performed in a dome near the heliport of the Carlini Base in a particular location , and was attended by only 120 people, very strang e for a concert of Y . MELA-2 In his diary in an entry headed "Nice 22 January 1892", X wrote: One evening I was walking along a path, the city was on one side and the fjord below. I felt tired and ill. I stopped and looked out over the fjord – the sun was setting, and the clouds turning blood red. I sensed a ______ passing through nature; it seemed to me that I heard the _______. I painted this picture, painted the clouds as actual blood. The color shrieked. This became The _____ Supposedly this painting is known as “The Y of Anxiety,” due to the depressing nature of art it conveys . Among theories advanced to account for the reddish sky in the background is the artist's memory of the effects of a particular geological event Z , which deeply tinted sunset skies red in parts of the Western hemisphere for months during 1883 and 1884, about a decade before he painted it . This explanation has been disputed by scholars, who note that he was an expressive painter and was not primarily interested in literal renderings of what he had seen. Another explanation for the red skies is that they are due to the appearance of nacreous clouds which occur at the latitude of Norway and which look remarkably similar to the skies depicted in the painting . INDIA-1 According to local legends, Jamlu rishi (sage) inhabited this place and made his own rules and regulations. The locals claim that it was one of the oldest democracies of the world, with a well-organized parliamentary system, guided by their devta (deity) Jamlu rishi. Although Jamlu is currently identified with a sage from the Puranas, this is a relatively recent development. Jamlu is believed to have been worshipped in pre-Aryan times. G. M. Young and Penelope Chetwood recount a tale about an orthodox Brahmin priest, who visited this place , and tried to educate the locals about the pedigree of their god, but had to leave while confessing to not knowing who Jamlu was. INDIA-2 Despite its stature, Indian Railways has continued to be riddled with administrative issues, lack of hygiene and hospitality, revenue losses, and similar concerns. The sheer population of the country and the number of people using the railways has made it difficult for quality to be a priority. Much has been done over the decade to upgrade the quality of services provided by the railways and yet the organization has always been at the receiving end of criticism. In an effort to develop both, the quality of services and the profitability of the Indian Railways, well-educated, trained, and skilled professionals were needed such that they can understand the problems specific to railways .So , the railway department put forward an proposal for improvement in Indian Railways in front of the NDA's Government and in 2017, it was approved by the government. SPORTS-1 ___________(3,3,3) is an Australian rock band consisting of five former New South Wales first-class cricketers. Formed in 1999, the band released two studio albums and played around 300 gigs on the live music circuit until its dissolution in early 2005. Almost two decades later, It reunited at the request of Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, and continued its reunion with a series of live shows across late 2023 and early 2024 . The band's name is derived from the backyard cricket rule of the same name. Interestingly out of 5 members of the band , two are siblings and one of them X had a pivotal role in forming it . The band's genesis developed midway through the 1990s, when cricketing teammates Brad McNamara and X began practising guitar while on tour in the United Kingdom. Fellow cricketers Gavin Robertson—already an accomplished musician in his own right—and Richard Chee Quee were later joined by Y, who could not play any instruments at the time. In August 1999, a snippet in The Sun-Herald announced the launch of the band’s debut single "Be a Part of It" as the theme song for the New South Wales Blues cricket squad, from which all band members were
active player . Though all the other 4 player knew one or more instrument but Y had no prior knowledge in any of this. In words of Y - “I walked in after training one day and there was all this talk about a band forming and I thought, ‘Well, they have a drummer in Gav Robertson, a lead guitarist in ‘Buzz’ McNamara, an acoustic guitar with my brother X and a lead singer with Richard Chee Quee ,’” “So I thought, ‘What’s left?’ The bass guitar. SPORTS-2 X ( born on 27 August 1966) is a Colombian former professional footballer who played as a goalkeeper. X's style of play, which was first shown to a global audience during the 1990 FIFA World Cup, was pioneering in influencing goalkeepers to take more responsibility for situations farther from the goal . Furthermore, X reportedly invented the _______( 8) kick, a movement which involves the player jumping forward, positioning their legs over their head, and in doing so, kicking the ball away with their heels; one of X's most notable uses of it was when he performed it while clearing a cross from Jamie Redknapp during a friendly against England at Wembley Stadium on 6 September 1995, earning him considerable media attention . TNL-1 X was founded in 1471 as a point of defense against the invading Portuguese. Just two decades later, the city expanded with the arrival of Muslim and Jewish refugees fleeing forced conversion to Christianity in Granada, Spain. These new residents built X’s signature whitewashed houses and courtyards with citrus trees, giving the city its European flair, which still exists today. There are many theories that explain the X or appearance of X. The most popular theory is that after WWII, when the Jewish community in the area grew as people fled Nazi persecution, we got X as a result of religious practice. One more theory say that its appearance helps keep homes cool in the summer and repels mosquitoes. One more theory say that X has a calming effect and represent Y which is very important for X.
