We enhance the impact of organizations,
governments and philanthropic funds.

ABOUT
KUBADILI
We enhance the impact of
organizations, governments, and
philanthropic funds, facilitating the
identification of their challenges and
co-creating ways of working to
increase their value generation.

Why do we do it?
At Kubadili, we detect a challenge for organizations in
the social and public ecosystem when it comes to
maximizing the impact they generate.

This is why we believe that the implementation of agile
frameworks can help teams that address social and
environmental issues to do so in a more innovative,
efficient, collaborative, and flexible way that is
adaptable to a constantly changing context.

Our Building Blocks of Success
We work together with teams
and building up agile and
innovative solutions to their
challenges.

Co-creation
We consider, review and adapt
strategies to continuously improve
each process. We try out strategies
in the short term to learn, adjust
and obtain better results.

Adaptability Value generation
We assist in the identification of
strategies to generate more
value and increase impact.

Our team
We have a team that carries out the
projects on a day-to-day basis as
well as a network in Latin America
and Spain including more than 80
experts in agility, coaching,
mentoring, and provision of
collaborative spaces.

We enjoy co-creating environments
that enable innovation and promote
the transformation of the ecosystem
we belong to.

We are part of Civic House

Challenge: Más Madrid presented us with the challenge of creating a training
session where participants, drawing on their experiences as members, could
collaborate to establish a shared understanding and align objectives in pursuit
of coherence as a political force.

Methodological Design: A creative workshop was coordinated, during which
Más Madrid members generated strategic proposals aligned with the party's
vision. Attendees were tasked with capturing ideas in a form, following
guidelines on the program, candidate presence, environmental impact, and
the pandemic context. Divided into groups, participants devised how to
self-manage the proposals, with Kubadili and Más Madrid's campaign
committee playing key roles in moderation and supervision.

Results: This workshop generated successful initiatives implemented before
the elections, such as a marathon with an electoral program QR code,
eco-friendly posters, bicycle tours, tai-chi sessions, and outdoor ballroom
dancing, among other proposals.

"It's a new way of understanding politics by harnessing creativity and collective intelligence to
the fullest, using cutting-edge organizational tools." - Daniel García, coordinator of the training
session on behalf of Más Madrid

⇢ The event lasted 3 hours
⇢ Preparation and design took 9 hours
⇢ 100 Más Madrid members participated
⇢ 3 specialists from Más Madrid
participated
⇢ 4 specialists from Kubadili participated

We support organizations in the
methodological design of events so that
they can achieve their goals in an
effective manner.

We design and facilitate both
face-to-face and virtual dynamics that
seek to generate human quality,
dynamism, participation, closeness, and
focus on the established goals.
We design and facilitate
events

Challenge: HIP came to us with a particular challenge, they needed
innovative and creative formats for each session of their upcoming
summit (summit in Spanish), in which different representatives of civil
society organizations, philanthropic funds and other institutions
working for the betterment and dignity of people on the move
throughout the region would participate.

Methodological design: Four dynamics were developed
(Conversatorio, Pecera, PechaKucha and Hoguera) with the objective
of having relevant conversations to support the work with migrants in
the region.

Results: Most of the attendees noted that it was a different,
participative and innovative meeting, in which powerful
conversations and valuable learnings that both teams were eager to
generate were developed.
VALUABLE MEETINGS, POWERFUL
COMMUNITIES: HIP SUMMIT 2023
"The opportunities to learn and gather the experiences of the attendees was very successful thanks to
the presence of Kubadili and the ability of his team to facilitate this type of dynamics" José Knippen,
Program Manager of Migration & Forced Displacement, Hispanics in Philanthropy (HIP).
⇢ The event lasted 3 days (29 hs in total).
⇢ More than 100 people attended, representing 86
organizations from 10 countries.
⇢ 5 specialists in migration issues from HIP
⇢ 64 panelists and expert moderators from other
organizations.
⇢ 2 specialists from Kubadili.
CASE

We support the exploration of the value
proposition of each organization with the aim of
diversifying and developing alternative sources
of income outside the traditional schemes of
individual donations or large donors.

We guide teams in the development of an
entrepreneurial mindset, capable of working
and implementing the creation of products and
services aligned with their mission.
We assist organizations in the
development or
strengthening of sustainable
organizational models

Challenge: FM4 Paso Libre approached us with the challenge of
strengthening its financial sustainability to develop alternative income
generation strategies related to its mission.

Methodological design: We collaboratively designed financial
objectives and goals through OKR planning (creation of a mural),
aiming to visually represent ideas and experiments. This allowed us
to organize them according to the established objectives.

Results: Participants expressed that this process enabled them to
clearly perceive their challenges and strengths, prompting them to
rethink the approach to fundraising without relying on third parties.
They understood that with a structured process, goals become more
evident.

“'It taught us to work as a team and to harness the capabilities from each area to continue growing. We
hope that the results are as beneficial as we anticipate in all aspects, both economically and in the
social impact we can achieve.'"” Gauri Porras – Fundraising FM4 Paso Libre

⇢ The process lasted for 3 months (3 hours per
week).
⇢ 10 individuals participated, representing various
work teams within the organization.
⇢ 3 financial sustainability specialists from Kubadili
were involved.
⇢ FM4 Paso Libre created 6 initiatives to generate
alternative sources of income

We promote meetings and
conversations between people and
organizations to highlight opportunities
for collaboration and common
challenges.

In this way, we strengthen networking
and peer-to-peer learning, which allows
us to effectively reach joint and
common solutions.
We promote the design and

Comunidad M is an initiative to strengthen Hispanics in
Philanthropy's partner organizations that accompany
migrants, refugees and people in situations of forced
displacement in the Americas.

Civic House, Kubadili, and Wingu collaborated with
Hispanics in Philanthropy (HIP) Migration Program to
support their partner organizations in expanding and
improving their operations and services. The goal was to
facilitate meaningful conversations and connections
among the organizations themselves, fostering discovery,
exchange, and collaboration.

We provide support through
methodologies and dynamics that
encourage innovation in the identification
of needs and the co-construction of
experiments.
In this way, we explore ideas and
hypotheses to develop effective solutions.
Design of products and
services

Challenge: FIP came to us with the challenge of crafting a methodology,
identifying needs, and charting a course for implementing a "Waze for
Participation" to energize participatory processes in peacebuilding.

Methodological Design: We mapped out several stages where we hashed out the
product's scope, identified potential problems, and agreed on the features of the
Minimum Viable Product (MVP). We used techniques like brainstorming and the NFB
methodology to prioritize issues, find solutions, and shape the initial product hypothesis.
In the second phase, we defined potential users through Persona Design and the user
journey map, giving us a visual roadmap for their interaction with the application.

Results: Post the discovery and development stages, both teams zeroed in on building
and validating the MVP, rallying volunteers whose profiles aligned with the
pre-established Persona. The volunteers tested the MVP and shared their insights,
allowing us to evaluate the idea with minimal risk and gauge its resonance with the
target audience.

⇢ The process clocked in
at 21 hours
⇢ 12 FIP members were

coaching.
We support people in
leadership roles to
strengthen their capabilities.

As part of Project M, Kubadili teamed up with
Enlaces Nicaragüenses in Costa Rica, providing
support to its president and founder, Quxabel,
in shaping a systemic leadership process.

The goal was to guide the organization in
embarking on its journey towards leadership
transition, with a particular emphasis on
adopting a more horizontal leadership approach.

Throughout this process, working from Kubadili, we closely collaborated
with the team to cultivate a strategic outlook. Taking a systemic thinking
approach, we delved into understanding their current operational
methods, the processes they undertake, and identifying individuals who
could take on various activities and responsibilities.
This marked the initiation of a participatory leadership process, drawing
on the support of the community backing them.

Challenge: HIP identified the need to further support
organizations receiving funds from the migration program in
order to enhance their organizational and digital resilience.

Methodological design: Each organization was supported by a
mentoring team composed of professionals from diverse
disciplines aligned with the chosen areas of focus. These
teams held one-on-one meetings with the organizations,
where they first identified their needs, developed an action
plan, and then addressed the identified challenges by
providing information, tools, and guidance.

Results: 11 transformation stories developed based on the
achievements obtained in the strengthening processes.

The Secretariat for Climate Change, Sustainable Development, and Innovation, an
agency under Argentina's Ministry of Environment and Sustainable Development,
focuses on addressing climate change and promoting sustainable development.

In order to strengthen public participation in environmental decision-making processes,
Kubadili conducted three training sessions to enhance public participation in
environmental decision-making.

Additionally, we organized inclusive events involving various stakeholders such as civil
society organizations, universities, private sector representatives, and government
officials at provincial and national levels.

We collaborated with Sistema B, a growing community of
approximately 350 B-companies in Latin America,
to design and facilitate a unique event in Argentina.
Our role involved providing a distinctive design for the event and
facilitating engaging group activities.

The objective was to shift away from traditional presentations and
instead emphasize the participation and dynamics of each attendee.
Sistema B aimed to highlight the vibrant community that sustains and
nourishes their organization. By inviting the entire community to share a
day of mobilizing activities in a different space, they emphasized the
immense value of collaboration and knowledge exchange within the
community.

TECHO approached us with a challenge:
to create participatory spaces for their
Regional Action Plan, ensuring every voice is heard.
We conducted an agility workshop, providing TECHO with training in
agile methodologies and tools. Together, we decided to implement an
Open Space Technology during the Urban Campus event, allowing for
self-organized conversations and a collaborative agenda.

However, new challenges emerged during the planning phase. We
needed to capture diverse experiences from inhabitants of various
territories, overcome language barriers (especially with participants
from Brazil and Haiti), and manage 18 simultaneous dialogue spaces
with limited time.
