3. Present Perfect Tense The present perfect expresses idea that something happened (or never happened) before now, at an unspecified time in the past. The exact time it happened is not important. If there is a specific mention of time, the simple past is used: I saw that movie last night. FORMULA : S + Has/Have + Past Participle ( V3 ) They, We, I, You = Have He, She, It = Has W e are Team 1

Past Perfect Tense Presentation NOW FUTURE PAST The past perfect expresses an activity that was completed before another activity or time in the past FORMULA : had + past participle /Verb 3 W e are Team 1

Example Until yesterday, I had never heard about it. After the guests had left, I went to bed. W e are Team 1

Part Of Future Tense I ndicates an action that will take place after the present time and that has no real connection with the present time.  1. Simple Future FORMULA : S + WILL + Verb1 W e are Team 1

Part Of Future Tense The future progressive expresses an activity that will be in progress at a time in the future . 2. Future Progressive Tense FORMULA : S + will be + Verb- ing W e are Team 1

Example I will begin to study at seven. You will come at eight. I will be studying when you come . Right now I am sitting in class. At this same time tomorrow, I will be sitting in class. W e are Team 1

3. Future Perfect 04 03 05 The future perfect expresses an activity that will be completed before another time or event in the future. (Notice in the examples: by the time introduces a time clause; the simple present is used in a time clause). FORMULA : S + Will + have + Verb3 W e are Team 1
