10. In this section, we are going to take a look at the proposed alternatives, projects, and ideas which can be implemented in New Galala, these alternatives include alternatives for ways of generating energy, providing water, food and making use of wastes.

11. Phosphate Fertilizer Plant New Galala has one of the largest phosphate fertilizer plants in the middle east. Laws and regulations have to be implemented to regulate and reduce harmful emissions from the fertilizer plant. MARS

12. Water A water desalination plant is the proposed alternative in terms of providing water. New Galala is the perfect place to make a water desalination plant bec au se it is right on the Red Sea’s shore. RO (Reverse Osmosis) desalination plant will be adopted because it is efficient and implented in Egypt already, so the technology will not be challenging (used in Dabaa, and Ain El Sokhna)
