Abstracts Our project is developing a smart street light  system is reviewed. In this project the street light system in which  lights when needed      and light-off when not needed. Currently in the whole world enormous electric energy is consumed by the street lamps. Our smart street light system consists of LED light . Since our street lamps all turn on before they come . Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering

Introduction Currently in the whole world enormous electric energy is consumed by the street lights. Which are controlled by means of the embedded  brightness  sensor s. They are automatically turn on when it becomes dark and automatically turn off when it becomes bright. This is the huge waste of energy in the whole world and should be changed. It only turns on for while when the motion is detected in front of the light and it is dark. Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering

Objective During the night all the lights on the highway remain on for the. Vehicles but lot of energy is wasted when there is no vehicle movement. To promote energy efficiency and the balanced  use of energy resources. To endorse  renewable and  new energy sources and to up keep energy variation. Low power consumption  Longitivity Reliability our product. Low maintenance. Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering

These the review details which were collected from few people in a street who travel daily :  * Due to rain or thunder many street lights were damaged. * The are areas where are no street lights . * It is being quite impossible to people who work for late night hours to reach destination . * Some places have least maintenance of street lights . * As a conclusion it is stated that the current traditional systems are inefficient, as they operate on fixed schedules and are not adaptive to real time-changes in traffic and weather conditions . Literature Survey

BLOCK DIAGRAM Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering

This proposed system provides a solution for energy saving. This is achieved by sensing an approaching vehicle and then switches ON a block of street lights ahead of the vehicle.  As the vehicle passes by, the trailing lights switch OFF automatically. Thus, we save a lot of energy.  However, there is another mode of operation where instead of switching OFF the lights completely, they remain ON with 10% of the maximum intensity. Working Principle

Advantages   1.Facilitate Smart Parking   2.Crime Reduction   3.Energy Conservation   4.Reduce Light Pollution   5.Easy Maintenance    Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering

Future Work Can be implemented in parking area Implemented in museum and auditorium This idea can be implemented on both roads and highways Safe road lighting for smooth vehicular movement Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering

Conclusion Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering The Smart Street   Lighting consumes the energy efficiency with the help of solar panel
