RESEARCH ON EXISTING MOBILITY
Traffic lights : On highway crossings there are traffic lights which are
manually operated by the traffic police. Often times there could be one
or more police men on the road to provide the much needed assistance.
Multi-lane Roads : Usually the bi-directional roads have 2 lanes.
These lanes are meant to guide the vehicles to overtake other
vehicles or to chose a path that suites their speed.
Ticketing system : In a city, there are various public transportation mode
available in which each transport system have different forms and fares
of ticket and different methods to buy those tickets.

Adaptive traffic signal
control:
This is a system that adjusts
the timing and coordination
of traffic signals based on
real-time traffic conditions,
such as volume, speed, and
occupancy. It can reduce
congestion, travel time and
fuel consumption.
Managed motorways:
This is a system that uses
intelligent transport
systems (ITS) to optimize
the use of road space and
improve traffic flow. It can
include variable speed
limits, ramp metering, lane
control and incident
detection
National Common Mobility
Card:
This is a single smart card
that enables commuters to
book tickets, use it for
metro, buses, and trains,
and pay for toll and parking.
It can simplify mobility
experience and reduce
transportation cost.

PROBLEM STATEMENT
How to promote more eco-friendly transportation
options for all citizens, while ensuring comfort and
affordable price?
Collaboration:
Work with businesses to
provide discounts or perks
for employees using eco-
friendly commuting
options.
Infrastructure
Development:
Invest in charging stations
for electric vehicles and
develop bike lanes and
pedestrian-friendly
pathways.

Public Transportation:
Improve and expand public transportation services, making
them more accessible, comfortable and affordable.
Urban Planning:
Design cities to prioritize walking, cycling, and public
transport, reducing the need for individual car usage.
Policy Support:
Implement policies such as congestion pricing or carpool
lanes to encourage shared transportation.

Public Awareness:
Educate people about the benefits of eco-friendly
transportation through campaigns and community
outreach.
Incentives:
Offer financial incentives, like tax breaks or subsidies, to
make eco-friendly vehicles more affordable.
Community Engagement:
Involve citizens in decision-making processes to ensure
their needs and concerns are addressed.
