Game Objectives: Learners will practice their listening and attention skills while engaging in a fun counting game.
Materials Needed: Prepared list of questions for learners who make mistakes. A number range to play the game within (e.g., 1-50).
Here's how it works: We’re going to count together, one by one. But there’s a twist! Whenever you reach a number that contains the digit that I will say, you should not say the number. Instead, you will say the word 'eyyy.'
For example, I gave the number 3 . instead of saying '3,' you would say 'eyyy.' The same goes for any number that has a '3' in it, like 13, 23, 30 , and so on. So, if it’s your turn and the number is 13 , you should say ' eyyy ' instead of ' 13 .'
PRACTICE ROUND
“eyyy 4”

END OF PRACTICE ROUND
Now, let's make it more interesting! If anyone forgets to say 'eyyy' and accidentally says the number, I will pause the game and ask them a question. The question could be about something we've been learning in class, or it could be a fun fact. If you answer correctly, you can continue playing. If not, I might ask you another question or you might sit out for this round.
