T o be able to come up with a short-term goal we all have to ask the same 5 questions, for these answers are fairly simple, I would like to pursue the music side of entertainment, Though I have no issues with anything else entertainment-wise as it is my passion music is more of my runway. I am an artist the entrepreneurial route works amazing for me. My short-term goal is to get my LLC to be able to start my management agency. Many people may believe this is a simple thing to do and looking inside out it is, But there is plenty of work that comes with this, getting the necessary licenses for me to be able move accordingly to support my artists. This year I want to be able to accomplish a full album funded by myself, with visuals and I would like it to drop on all platforms. This goal is important to me because I want to see how I can apply everything I have learned from school to my career and how successful it could be if my methods work for my artists who choose to work with agency. I will be using the creative minds of Photographers, Videographers, Producers, and Engineers I plan to use all networking avenues to promote them , all streaming platforms, open mics,social media. I am preparing myself to spend around $5000 on products for the agency to start off . I plan on accomplishing this goal by slowly starting now with putting the required amount of money aside, This goal is very realistic for me as the only thing that would hinder me is laziness I have already started building connections for the artists I work with. I have become familiar with known artists in my city as well as radio stations, contracting with photographers and videographers. Departments such as : management , marketing , styling , photography , videography etc .

Profession I would like to work in the Entertainment industry, musically to be exact. Public Relations Manager Entertainment Manager Promoter Entertainment managers work for corporations or venues to assist with the booking and management of certain events. They often recruit entertainment, negotiate contracts and oversee the schedules of various team members. With corporations, they book the venues, manage budgets and oversee the publicity and marketing efforts used to promote events. Promoters work with different brands, companies or individual talent to increase their outreach. They might work at events, like workshops, seminars or shows to promote certain products or services, showing how each works to appeal to potential consumers. Promoters can also work for venues or people, creating materials and publicity statements to assist in increasing attendance or engagement. public relations managers are professionals who work with artists, venues or corporations to help maintain a positive public image. These people work with marketing teams to craft communications and marketing materials to shape how consumers view their clients. Audience My target audience would be focused on small-time artists, artists who I know could benefit from small expertise. I will be looking for dedication and people who are just starting and do not know where to start, I would be getting them to a point where someone who does have more experience would be interested in them now. Table 2 Employees : need to know vision, mission, and goals as a manager. understand my expectations, communication style, and how I operate within the entertainment industry . Clients : need to know about track record of success in promoting events, managing talent, and handling public relations campaigns. Customers : attending events or consuming content, should be familiar with my reputation for delivering high-quality entertainment experiences. Fans and followers: Individuals who have a genuine interest in the artists, events, or projects. They attend concerts, shows, or other events, purchase merchandise, and engage with content on social media. Media outlets : journalists, bloggers, influencers, and other members of the press who can help amplify and generate publicity for clients or events. Industry professionals: record labels, talent agents, producers, venue owners, and other professionals within the entertainment industry who may collaborate and provide opportunities for clients. Sponsors and investors: Individuals or companies interested in partnering with clients or events for marketing opportunities, brand exposure, or financial support. Local communities: such as music enthusiasts, cultural groups, or niche audiences interested in particular genres or themes.

Competition Who is my competition within the industry career ? As Entry level entertainment business degree student with limited experience, My main competition in the job market includes other recent graduates with similar qualifications and potentially those who have completed internships. Additionally, individuals from related fields like business administration or marketing might also compete for similar job openings To stand out, highlight relevant coursework and internships, network within the industry, and demonstrate your passion for the entertainment business. Who is Amani Ferguson ? Vision : Giving small time artists a better chance of being picked up by major labels I was born in NJ, into a family of 12, my parents were high school sweethearts, and I am the 4th oldest and second oldest daughter. I grew up with plenty of personalities which is why I feel like I relate so much to people. Growing up in a family of 12 you learn to adjust to people, how to talk, how to relate how to grow with opposite personalities. I am empathic. My love for people comes from home. I always have been connected to music the love and passion I have for the entertainment industry in general have always been a big part of my life. I went to school to become a cosmetologist .. here I learned people, I learned everyone would like someone to listen. Everyone needs self-love, while I was working as a cosmetologist I slowly got back into writing music and knew that a part of my life was still missing. I decided to look into programs I found fullsail. There is so much more to this back story of mine but I would prefer to keep it short. My only focus now is to remain focused I want to be able to help me flourish in this industry and I know I am the perfect person for the job.
