17. Is there a limit to the maximum number of treatments ?
There is no maximum number of THEAL THERAPY treatments which can
be performed. THEAL Therapy treatments are safe and side-effect free. In a
sporting context, more than one treatment can be carried out daily. Furthermore,
the total number of treatments is at the discretion of the professional operator who,
during the recovery process, decides how many treatments to carry out and when
to stop the therapy.
18. How long before the first results are seen ?
It is possible to feel the benefits of THEAL Therapy immediately after the

21. Normally, chronic patients have to do treatment for long time (many

No side effects and if you use the Thermal control you could give the energy
to the biological tissue in the best way. A patient could be treated also 5 times in a
day and all the day without side effects. In sport field athlets are treated between 3
or 5 times during the day to accelerate the recovery.
22. In each session, PTs have to set the thermal threshold by
themselves. How to set an appropriate thermal threshold for each pathology ?
Anyway in acute or inflammation situation it is better to set the two
thresholds between 36°C – 39°C with the thermal control mode. When you have a
chronic situation or you are in a subacute phase or you need to do an anti-edema or
decontracting effect you could work with different threshold like 39°C – 42°C with
thermal control mode or 40°C – 43°C.
