“SIFT IT BABY”
MECH ANICS OF THE GAME: This is a relay game! You must line up by group. Each group must only have 6 members. The first on the line will go in front where he will scoop and sift the flour until it runs out. Once the first member is done sifting, he must go back to his line and tap the second member to do the same. This will go on until to the last member on the line.
MECH ANICS OF THE GAME: The relay will continue until they sift the last scoop of flour in the bowl. The first team finished the task will be declared as the winner. The group will need to finish the relay within 3 minutes.
“ HIGH RISK HIGH REWARD”
MECHANICS OF THE GAME: The representative of the group will take the risk of picking what activity they will do. The group members will plan how they’re going to do their task. Whenever a group wins, they will be given tools as reward. These tools will be used for the last activity. Each group has 5 minutes to do the tasks.
INSTRUCTIONS: Using the tools that your group got in the task earlier, you are going to measure the dry ingredients accurately. On a manila paper, write your answers based on the following guide questions.

Materials Needed: Dry ingredients (flour, sugar, baking powder and baking soda.) Measuring cups and spoons Paper Pen or pencil
Follow the instructions. 1. Place the bowl on a flat surface. 2. Choose one dry ingredient to work with. 3. Using the measuring tools provided, measure out the following amounts of the chosen ingredient into the bowl: ¼ cup ½ cup 1 cup
4. Write down the amounts you measured for each ingredients on your paper. 5. Repeat steps 2-4 and try another dry ingredient. 6. Compare the actual measurements with the standard measurements using the correct measuring tools. 7. Reflect on the importance of measuring dry ingredients accurately for successful baking outcomes.
