Coach Cook 8 Mission Statement Confidence through Commitment Life is always changing, our time is now! The world we live in creates unnecessary boundaries limiting the ability of all age groups to choose for themselves. Diversity is abundant in the creation of any culture. To change a culture, the boundaries must be broken. A true leader does not conform to the social needs of a community, instead takes charge involving himself as the foundation to create the change. Coach will not be a boss and rule with an iron fist. A leader will rise up and guide the way to success. Culture will be created through caring about character, team, staff and community. Consistent decision making is a premium attribute to being professionally calm and motivationally intense. A balanced lifestyle will create physical, mental, and personal confidence. Confidence through the commitment of a coach, t hrough the commitment of his players and through the commitment of their community.

Coach Cook 9 COMMUNITY Solid foundation is needed to start a culture change. Involved in all aspects of the program. FAMILY Must have support from all loved ones. EDUCATION Student-Athletes, student come first for a reason PROGRAM FOUNDATION TEAM Not on the field only COACHES Teach & Motivate SUPPORT STAFF DISIPLINE PREPARATION COMMITMENT EFFORT CHAMPIONSHIP

Coach Cook 10 Staffing Strategy You are only as good as the company you choose. I am the leader not the boss. There is a difference, I will work with my staff and not just direct. Coaching staff will be built of individuals that have the same outlooks on life and expectations from football. We must be a complete unit that is easily identified by our professionalism. We will demand respect from our opponents through knowledge and preparation. They must accept duties to their positional group, team, school, and community with pride. We are accountable for all success and failure is not an option. Losing is not a failure, it is a lack of preparation and development. We will not fail on the field, in the community, or in developing outstanding young men. Major focus placed on transitioning student-athletes into their life after football. Loyalty is demanded and opinions are welcomed at all times. Coaches will have the ability to run their respective positions and groups. The respect to players will be given, it will also be earned. The Coordinators will be the backbone for all game planning material. All staff will support decisions made for the program and will not discuss program information outside our circle. We will communicate effectively with all support staff, teachers, parents and respond to all community needs. Confidence through commitment. Our vision will be clear. Our hearts will be full. Our time is now!

Coach Cook 16 Championship Vision The core values at the heart of a championship football program are commitment, courage, class, and character. These four fundamental core values, all have deeper meanings than the words themselves. Our job a football coaches is to maximize the potential of each student-athlete. Using the core values will increase our ability to be the caliber team that I expect, coaches expect, and our community expects. Following the values as a guideline to excellence, will have each athlete ready for every endeavor life will provide. It goes deeper than playing football. We will provide the most capable path to achieve the ultimate goal of a championship. One of the most satisfying achievements in the sport, can only be reached with confidence through commitment. Do the right thing every time. Be the best person you are capable of being at all times. Drive the path to success with eyes wide open. Fill your hearts with love of the game and your teammates. Trust in the coaching staff. Desire more than you can physically and mentally obtain. Have fun in your travels. Flourish in your achievement. Confidence through commitment will make you a champion!

Coach Cook 17 Coaching Controls Our program will be dedicated to achieving the ultimate goal, a Championship. Part of this involves keeping some items within the program walls only. Necessary items for all coaches to use will be displayed at the time of hire. Examples of these items will be provided if necessary only due to containing program restrictive material: Practice Scripts Game Situation Mandatory Coverage Game Day Itinerary Game Day Coach / Staff Positioning (Field & Press Box) Winter, Spring and Summer Player Roles Strength & Conditioning Programs Fundraising Community Service Calendar Program Calendar Confidence through Commitment
