3. PPFP initiates after 10 minutes of expulsion of placenta and ends at 12months,every method which will be used during this period will count as postpartum family planning. DIFFERENT TYPES AS PER TMINGS Post Placental FP or Immediate( if IUCD placed within ten minutes ) Methods: PPIUCD and PPIMPLANT .     Early( within 48 hrs ) Methods IUCD, Imp l ant (if 1st screening is not done then MEC Wheel should be used for clients situation

4. 12 Months--- Extended FP All methods can be used if client has no complications and falling in catogary A and B according to MEC WHEEL After 12 months of delivery client will be entered in family planning services.

5. Post Abortion Family Planning (PAFP) PAFP ----- family planning service will be given till 6months After 6months client will be entered as Interval FP or simply in FP services in DHIS section Surgical Abortion: it involves dilating the opening of cervix and placing suction tube in into the uterus and suction is used to remove the fetus and related pregnancy and this is also used in removal of RPCs when cervix is dilated like in incomplete abortion . Some HCPs use some instruments for the same purpose and the name is given to the procedure is DNE   MVA CONSIDERED SAFE NOW ADAYS After procedure if no complications and client has no RPCs then methods can be used with reference of MEC WHEEL(Pills, Injectables , IUCD,Implant and TL etc )   After procedure if no complications and client has no RPCs then methods can be used with reference of MEC WHEEL(Pills, Injectables , IUCD,Implant and TL etc )

6. Medical Abortion:Termination of pregnancy by using of medication, Misoprostol and mifepristone commonly used for this purpose METHODS All methods like pills ,injectable ,implant are best after reference with MEC WHEEL. CAN BE USED WITH THE START OF MEDICATION for termination of pregnancy IUD and sterlization will be opt when this is confirmed that client is not pregnant now or she has no RPCs now and meeting criteria of A and B as per MEC WHEEL Post Abortion Family Planning (PAFP)
