According to oxford dictionary fruit is the part of a plant that consist of one or more seeds and flesh, can be eaten as food and usually tastes sweet. fruit is the seed-bearing structure in flowering plants formed from the ovary after flowering. When mature ovary is eaten botanically termed as fruit. On the other hand, in botanical usage, "fruit" includes many structures that are not commonly called “fruits” such as bean pods, corn kernels, tomatoes, and wheat grains. What is the fruit?
