STATIONS
EXTRAVAGANZA

Create 8 exciting game stations, each designed to test
different skills in dance, physical fitness, and fun games.
Participants should rotate across stations and perform a
variety of tasks. The goal is to complete all stations while
having fun and practicing teamwork. (30 pts)

Station 1-3:
8-Second Dance
Routine Stations

Station Name: Dance Rush
Time Required: 8 seconds per routine
Mechanics:
Participants will create a unique 8-second dance routine that
must involve at least 3 dance moves.
Each participant must perform their routine solo or in pairs.
Creativity, energy, and timing are key!
Dance Rush

Materials Needed:
Speakers and music
Space for dancing
Timer
Rules:
The routine must be exactly 8 seconds.a.
All moves must be synchronized if done in pairs.b.
Participants will be judged on creativity, rhythm,
and performance.

Station 4-5:
1-Minute Exercise
Challenge Stations

Station Name: Strength Circuit
Time Required: 1 minute per activity
Exercise 1: Jumping Jacks
Mechanics: Participants must complete as many jumping jacks
as possible in 1 minute.
Exercise 2: Plank Hold
Mechanics: Participants must hold a plank position for as long as
possible, up to 1 minute.
Strength Circuit

Materials Needed:
Timer
Mat (for planking)
Whistle for starting and stopping
Rules:
Proper form must be maintained throughout the
exercise.

For jumping jacks, participants must fully extend
arms and legs.
b.
For the plank, participants must keep their body
straight.

Station 6:
Sack Race Station

Station Name: Jump & Hop
Time Required: 1 minute for each race (multiple rounds can be done)
Mechanics:
Participants will race to the finish line while hopping in a sack.
Teams can compete in multiple heats.
Materials Needed:
Burlap sacks or large bags
Cones or markers for start and finish lines
Whistle
Jump & Hop

Rules:
Both feet must remain inside the sack during the
race.

The race is won when participants cross the finish
line first.
b.
The race will be timed for 1 minute, and the fastest
completion will win.

Station 7:
Limbo Rock Station

Station Name: Limbo Low
Time Required: 1 minute (for each participant or group attempt)
Mechanics:
Participants must pass under a limbo stick without
touching it, leaning backward to lower themselves as the
bar gets lower.
Multiple rounds with progressively lower limbo stick.
Limbo Low

Materials Needed:
Limbo stick and two stands (or volunteers holding the
stick)
Music for ambiance
Rules:
Participants must not touch the ground with hands or
knees.

The participant who goes the lowest wins.b.
If a player touches the stick or falls, they are out.c.

Station 8:
Chinese Garter Station

Station Name: Garter Gauntlet
Time Required: 1 minute per attempt
Mechanics:
Two players will hold a garter at ankle height. Participants
must jump over it without touching the garter.
Garter Gauntlet

Materials Needed:
Garter or long elastic band
Markers for height levels
Rules:
If a player touches the garter, they are out of the round.a.
The height will progressively increase after every
successful jump.

The player who jumps the highest wins.c.
