About This Presentation

Giving is Divine Action

Slide Content

A DIVINE ACTION Rev. Richard S. Dangos

Giving is not just a human act, it originates from God. Every time we give, we reflect the divine nature of God Himself.

What is Divine Giving? Giving is not limited to money or material things. It includes time, love, service and compassion. God’s nature is generous-He gives freely, fully and first.

God is the First Giver God’s first act of love was giving His Son. We give because God gave first. Giving is at the core of the Gospel message.

Giving Reflects God’s Character When we give, we mirror God’s heart. Giving shifts our focus from self to others. We become God’s hands and feet on earth.

Giving Activates Divine Blessings Giving is a seed that God multiplies. The more we release, the more we receive. Divine giving results in supernatural return.

God is the first and greatest Giver. His giving is the foundation of our salvation.

🔹 All forms of true giving begin with God. “Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights...” James 1:17

🔹 God wants giving to be joyful and promises abundant blessings. “Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give... For God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to bless you abundantly...” 2 Corinthians 9:7–8

🔹 Giving activates divine multiplication. “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over...” Luke 6:38

🔹 Giving is a spiritually enriching action. “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” Acts 20:35

🔹 There is a divine cycle of generosity and blessing. “A generous person will prosper; whoever refreshes others will be refreshed.” Proverbs 11:25

🔹 God responds to giving with open heavens. “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse... and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven...” Malachi 3:10

🔹 God’s giving assures us of His continued generosity. “He who did not spare His own Son... how will He not also... graciously give us all things?” Romans 8:32
