Theological Virtues Theological comes from the Greek term theos , which means “ God ." We can, therefore, understand that these virtues were given to us by the God we worship. .
Faith "Man by nature is a religious being." This means that every human person is born with a desire to express his longing to be connected with someone greater than him-someone who he believes created him and everything around him. What helps a person find or discover the divine in his life is faith. Faith is the virtue that reflects our relationship with God. It shows that we believe in a supreme being .
Hope "There is always a rainbow after the rain." This saying best describes how people express their hope. Hope is the virtue that makes us desire something better or happier, either in our life here on earth or our life after we pass on. Hope enables us to be happy even when we experience many life problems. It keeps us from being "washed away" by sadness. This is why an anchor often symbolizes hope-the device preventing a ship from being drifted by the current to the sea.
Love Love (or charity) is the most difficult to define among the virtues discussed. Ironically, it is also the virtue with the most definitions. It is the greatest of all virtues. In the Bible, the Apostle Paul said that only three will remain in the end: faith, hope, and love... and the greatest of these three is love. We will be discussing love in the coming lessons of this book.

THE PLANET EARTH: PERFECT FOR LIFE There are eight planets in the solar system: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. There was a time until the late '90s when Pluto was classified as a planet. Among those planets, why does Earth seem to be the only place that can sustain life?
Scientists believe that the following factors make Earth a planet "perfect for life." 1. The Earth has the right distance from the sun. Being in the "habitable zone" in the solar system makes the Earth not too hot or cold. This right amount of temperature freezes what needs to stay frozen and "thaws" what needs to stay out of ice, like oxygen, air, water, among others.
Scientists believe that the following factors make Earth a planet "perfect for life." 2. The Earth has its own magnetic field . The magnetic field of our planet is very important. It has a protective function. It keeps us safe from solar radiation, which can seriously harm us. 3. The Earth has a perfect layer of atmosphere. Our atmosphere does not only contain the air we breathe. Earth's atmosphere also keeps the planet's temperature in check .

All life on earth is carbon-based. According to evolutionists, life started in the water, and living beings, especially human beings, need water to survive.
ECOLOGY: SCIENCE OF PROTECTING LIFE We have often heard (or read) people saying, "Save the planet!" However, have you ever wondered if this is correct ?
ECOLOGY: SCIENCE OF PROTECTING LIFE So, caring the environment is not about "saving the planet." We take care of the environment, we try to minimize pollution, we try to limit the trash we throw, and we protect the rainforest and endangered species, not really because we want to "save the Earth" but because we want to save human life, especially the life of those who will be born after our lifetime.
