3. Goal Based Agent: Goal-based agents further expand on the capabilities of the model-based agents, by using "goal" information.  Goal information describes situations that are desirable. This is a method known as search and planning , meaning it targets the  goal  ahead and finds the right action to reach it. OMega TechEd

5. Utility Based Agent: A utility-based agent is an agent that acts based not only on what the goal is, but the best way to reach that goal. A  utility agent  chooses the action that maximizes the expected  utility. A utility function maps a state onto a real number which describes the associated degree of happiness. OMega TechEd

6. Learning Agent: A learning agent is a tool in AI that is capable of learning from its experiences. learning agents can perform tasks, analyze performance, and look for new ways to improve on those tasks - all on their own. All agents can improve their performance through learning. OMega TechEd

7. Learning Agent: Critic:  Determines the outcome of the action and gives feedback. Learning element : It is responsible for making improvements by learning from the environment. Performance element:   chooses what action to take. Problem Generator:   This component is responsible for suggesting new or alternative actions which will lead to new and informative experiences.
