About The Pixel Pixel has been specifically designed and built as a “Future Office” that will thrive under the increasing demands for energy and workplace efficiencies. This is a four (4) level building with rooftop garden fully serviced by a dedicated elevator. 1,136 square metres * of column-free office. Significant ceiling heights and optimum levels of natural light. Pixel is Australia’s first carbon neutral office building. There are over 44,000 buildings in 120 countries around the world that have used the LEED rating system. Pixel has now surpassed all of them

Water Sensitive design Building use reed bed irrigation system. Rain water will be collected after it had been use to irrigate the living roof. Anaerobic digestor. Vacuum toilet technology.
Flow of water in the pixel building Rain water used for internal water requirements. It is collected through roof garden and stored in the storage tank. The Harvested Rainwater treated using membrane filtration technology. Black water from toilets and kitchen facilities is collected in an anaerobic digestor.
ANAEROBIC DIGESTOR A tank system on the ground level holds all the black waste. Methane is extracted from the waste and use for hot water heaters on the roof of the building.
Vacuum toilet system Vacuum toilet system uses one litre per flush compared to six litres for a standard system. Vacuum systems are mainly used in Ships and Air planes for low consumption of water
100% Fresh air
Free night cooling The pixel facade includes smart technology that automatically open the windows of the facade on cool nights to enable the night air flow in the building and cool the structure. Due to this the consumption of energy is zero . And temperature of building is maintained.
Daylight glare control Pixel is design to provide 100% daylight penetration into the office space.
