HISTORY OF ARCHITECTURE
The History of Architecture can be traced back to the Neolithic period , which began around 10,000 BC, when humans started to transition from living in caves and build dwellings based on their preferences.
This period was marked by architectural advances and the start of architectural thought, which was influenced by both aesthetics and practicality.

The earliest surviving written work on the subject of architecture is De architectura by the Roman architect Vitruvius in the early 1st century AD.
According to Vitruvius, a good building should satisfy the T hree P rinciples: Durability – a building should stand up robustly and remain in good condition. Utility – it should be suitable for the purposes for which it is used. Beauty – it should be aesthetically pleasing.

GREEN ARCHITECTURE Zuellig Building in Makati is a standout green building in the Philippines. It was the first building in the country to achieve a gold level LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design)-CS certification, which has since been upgraded to platinum.
