Observe and monitor people It is the action or process of closely observing someone or something for information and to be able to reproduce that information accurately.
What is meant by monitoring? • is the process of collecting, analyzing, and using information to track a program’s progress toward reaching its objectives and to guide management decisions.
What is meant by observability? Observability is the ability to understand a system’s internal state by analyzing the data it generates, such as logs, metrics, and traces.
Observe and monitor people This Units comprised 5 elements: 1.Prepare for observation and monitoring 2.Implement observation on monitoring 3.Determination apprehension of offenders 4.Arrest offenders 5.Fullfil administration responsibilities
Identify areas and people to monitor: & People who may need to be monitored: •VIP's and their entourage •Members of the public who fit an idwntified profile •Persons displaying certain attributes AREAS WHICH MAY NEED TO BE MONITORED: •Internal and external areas •Known trouble-spots •High-traffic areas •As identified by “assignment instructions"

Deal with emergency situations an unexpected event that poses a risk of death or injury and requires immediate response and management.
Recognise and handle emergency/potencial emergency Emergency situationbmay occur at any time during anytime during any given day and very often could have been avoided had their potential danger been detected early and corrected speedily:Emergency situation may include but are not limited to: •Accidents •Health issues-heart attacks,fainting,bleeding,etc. •Daranged costumers •Fire •Flood •Robbery
Recognise and handle emergency/potencial emergency There are distinct procedures to be followed for certain types of emergency situations. Medical emergencies for example,require knowledge of first aid. First aid procedures are vital and often make the difference between: •Life and death •Temporary and permanent disability •Rapid recovery and long hospitalization

Following Emergency Procedures •Many organizations have an emergency plan or procedures handbook which outlines the sleps to be followed in case of emergencies. •If you have not seen one at your place of work or learning,check with your supervisor or lerning facilitator.
Following Emergency Procedures •When an emergency occurs we often instinctively want to rush in and do something •Depending on the situation, this is not necessarily the best option •For example, unless you have been trained to handle emergency situations especially those requiring first aid, you shoud refrain form taking action as a procedures that is incorrectly applied could result in anh of the following disaster: •Death •Temporary nd permament disability •Long hospitalization
Report Details of Emergency situations A very inportant aspect of handling emergencies if documanting and reporting these incedents. •These reports should always be in accordance with enterprice policy •There is likely to be some kind of system in place for reporting and recording,accidents,injuries,illness and other incedents.

An injury caused by a safety hazard is usually obvious. •Occupational Health Hazard -Any material or condition that may cause occupational injuries and/or illness includes chemicals,(addressed by WHMIS),physical agents ergonomic hazards,and other stress agent
Professional Standards •Perform only those procedures for which you have been trained and are legally permitted to do. °Never perform procedures unless ualified °Obtain appropriate traiming °Refuse to perform if not properly trained or illegal
•Obtain correct authorization before performing any procedures. °From appropriate authority in charge of patient's core °From written orders °From imnediate supervisor if above not available •Observe all safety precaution °Handle equipment carefully °Be alert to safety and protect patient °Know and follow all safety rules and regulation °Be alert to safety hazards and correct or eliminate as quickly as possible
