ORIGIN OF RSETI IN 1982 AT DHARAMSTHALA IN KARNATAKA RURAL DEVELOPMENT AND SELF EMPLOYMENT TRAINING INSTITUTE (RUDSETI) WAS SET UP JOINTLY BY SDME TRUST , CANARA BANK AND SYNDICATE BANK . LOOKING INTO SUCCESS OF RUDSETI MODEL, MINISTRY OF RURAL DEVELOPMENT DECIDED TO REPLICATE THIS AS RURAL SELF EMPLOYMENT INSTITUTE ( RSETI) IN EVERY DISTRICT OF THE COUNTRY IN 2008-09.
