However, X is one of those “creepy” things that is an integral part of the books and is largely considered harmless. X forms a major part of the 4th book - The Goblet of Fire, and forms the basis of a major subplot in the 7th book-The Deathly Hallows when Harry tries to retrieve X from the Ministry of Magic. Many fans however have voted the presence of X in a school or for that matter, any public place, to be very disturbing.
