CURRICULUM VITAE

SUMMARY:
With more than 11 years of teaching and Research experience as an Assistant Professor, of Zoology in the Department of Higher Education
Jammu & Kashmir (UT), India. I am passionate about teaching and research in various topic viz: Molecular Biology and Genetics, Animal
Behaviour, Biochemistry and Human Physiology. I have completed my Ph.D. from Jiwaji University, Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, India. The title
of my thesis was “Population Dynamics and Ecology of Ganges river Dolphins in National Chambal Sanctuary, India.” I am committed
to delivering informative lectures to Undergraduate and Post-graduate students, developing relevant updated course content, and
providing academic guidance and support.
Prior to this, i have been worked as a Field Biologist with Gharial Conservation Alliance (GCA), and WWF-India, New Delhi, India in an
International Collaboration Project with IISC Tokyo University, Japan and IIT New Delhi, India. I have also received Meritorious Research
Fellowship from UGC-SAP New Delhi. I have also published several research papers, Books, Monograph and book chapters in reputed
National and International peer reviewed journals. I have also presented my research finding in many National and International
conferences and seminars. I enjoyed working with a diverse and dynamic team of researchers, students and faculty members, and I strive
to communicate my findings effectively and ethically.
