4. What is IN-HEAT/ESTRUS DETECTION? is the process of identifying which females are receptive to being bred

5. Sows come into heat every 18-24 days with the average of 21 days. Estrous Cycle is the 21-day cycle between in-heat periods. Estrus/in-heat is the period when female animals become sexually receptive, signaling they are ready for mating. Estrus period usually takes 3-5 days
