ADVANTAGES OF HIRMS LOCK SYSTEM
Wireless System and Stand-alone door lock: The locks are battery powered, require no
wiring, adopt smart card to perform control function and unlocking function, are completely
independent and stand-alone. All of these make installation and maintenance becomes
simple and easy.
Non Volatile Memory: Memory will not lost, even if power fails.
All communications between the carrier and the electronic lock are encrypted and secure.
Key cards are limited by lock’s clock: When the guest’s lodging is put of the deadline, the
keycard will be invalid, so the guest has to take the card to renew. The guest booking room
cannot unlock the lock before the check-in time to make more security.
Office time table is possible: 24 hours in a day, 7 days in a week, 365 days in a year can be
set access flexible.
Restrict guest room function: For some need to restrict guest room (such as rent arrears), we
can make Stop Card to stop the corresponding key card from unlocking the lock.
Key Cards are grouped into several levels to make the access authority clear: There are
Master Card, Building Card, Floor Card, Waiter Card, and Guest Card. Employees in different
position will be assigned with different key cards level.
Master Card –can unlock all of the locks in the system without time’s limited, even
the deadbolt locks. Normally, this card is only for emergency use and kept by General
Manager.
Building Card –can unlock the locks belong to corresponding building. Normally, this
is kept by General Manager or Minister.
Floor Card –can unlock the locks belong to corresponding floors. Normally, this is
kept by waiter. (One card can open multiple floors; the valid hours can be set flexibly.
Guest Card –for the guest to open the room he lodges in within the specified period
of time. (Can set one card, open multiple rooms and can set how many times the
door can open).
Do not disturb function –avoid waiters incautious disturb. When the guest turn out the
deadbolt inside the room, the waiter cannot unlock with a keycard (except Master Card) and
there will be LED indication (in red and blue alternately) to remind later when touch the card.
Conference Room Function (passage mode) –The lock can be set to auto-lock (the lock will
be locked automatically 7 seconds after unlocking) and always-open (the lock will be always-
open after unlocking). The conference room and public access door can be set as always-
open mode
The guest can pass the public access door and elevator with his room card –For the hotel
public access door or elevator, it can work with our access reader, it can be set to allow the
related Guest Card to open it, in this way, improve the security much.
Energy –Saving Function –Match with energy-saving switch, when entering the room, the
guest has to insert the Guest Card into the energy-saving switch to turn on the illumination
(lighting) system. While leaving the room, the guest draws the room card, the illumination
(lighting) system will be shut off automatically about 15 seconds later. It saves the energy
and improves the safety effectively in this way.
Report the loss of key card –When your key card is lost, you just keep quiet. The lost
keycard will be invalidated by simple card operations on the lock.
New Guest Card overrides any previous Guest Card -A new guest card with terminate old
card function can overrides any previous Guest Card, preventing re-entry.
Mechanical Key Override Function –The separate emergency mechanical structure will
allow the unlocking by mechanical key in emergency state.
Event Audit Trail Function –The lock memorizes the latest more than 220 access records to
be checked for case, guarantee the security management. The access records are collected
by the data register
Panic Release Function –Deadbolt and latch are automatically retracted by pressing the
inside handle for easy egress.
Anti-Pick Function –When close the door, the anti-pick latch will prevent the lock to be
picked.
Alarm for not closing well -When the door is not closed well and the latch is pressed, the
lock will give alarm (suitable for ANSI mortise) to remind the guest and the waiter to close
the door well.
Card recycle use –cards can be used in cycle (100,000 times), to save the environment and
the cost. Cards can be printed in AD design, such as hotel logo; helps to promote the hotel.
Multi –purpose card can be developed from the keycard –to support lock system, power

ANSI and 6# Standard five-latch structure mortise has a strong
steel deadbolt, an anti-pick latch and a 3-point anti-friction
latch. The separate emergency mechanical structure will allow
by the mechanical key in emergency.
Mortise adopts flexible and compact gearing configuration,
works smoothly and reliably.
High quality motor drives lock pin to ensure the reliability. Our
lock pin in the clutch is made from special material. Its rigidity is
10x harder than the other mortise that made from brass or
ordinary steel. HIRMS lock pin avoid the case of bend when
press the handle with excessive force. ANSI ‘block box’ records
the override by mechanical key.
Original designed mortise owns knowledge property right in
many aspects, works more smoothly, reliable and durable than
common mortise.
For ANSI mortise, client can choose the stainless steel latches
and stainless steel deadbolt, which has better performance.
High –performance motor:We adopted the special coil spring
to drive the lock pin, which increase the stability greatly
comparing with the locksets from other factories. High-
performance motor reduces the case as wood slice blocking the
lock pin, thoroughly solves the unstable situation when he
guest turn down the handle and touch card at the same time.

strike plate only contact with the little latch in the middle,
greatly reduced the force area, not only reduce the strength
when close the door but also reduce the wear and tear on the
surface of the latches.
ANSI Deadbolt Latch with strengthened structure, effectively
prevent the latch to be bent or cracked when close the door
due to wind or manmade cause. We improve the latch by
strengthening the structure. The majority of the force
concentrates in the thickest position of the latch (12mm
thickness) and the distance of stress point is greatly shortened,
so the force durable of the improved latch is 5x upgrade. Other
factories still use the old structure, the most force stress on the
weakness position of the latch (3mm thickness), this make the
latch bend easy, and the latch cannot completely retract back
that cause the door not to be unlocked or locked normally.

card/code.
Function Card: Mother Card, Key Card
•The mother card is use to create key card
•The key card is use to open the door. The same key card can be shared
by all of the locks. (Lock just memory card ID)

Press “Reset” button, touch the card tend to be the mother card. (All
of the cabinets can share the same mother card)
◘Create Child Card (Key Card)
Touch mother card 2 times, then touch the card want to become key
card.
(For the code lock, touch mother card 2 times, input your code)
◘Terminate all key cards
Touch the mother card or 3 times successively.

Touch your Guest Card, the lock unlocked. This Guest Card access
authority canceled. (For the code lock, in locked state, input your code,

Work without software, each cabinet is set with the fixed key
card/code.
Function Card: Mother Card, Key Card
•The mother card is use to create key card
•The key card is use to open the door. The same key card can be shared
by all of the locks. (Lock just memory card ID)
◘Create Mother Card
Press “Reset” button, touch the card tend to be the mother card. (All
of the cabinets can share the same mother card)
◘Create Child Card (Key Card)
Touch mother card 2 times, then touch the card want to become key
card.
(For the code lock, touch mother card 2 times, input your code)
◘Terminate all key cards
Touch the mother card or 3 times successively.
Mode 2
Work without software, each cabinet is set with the random key card
(or code).
Function Card: Mother Card, Master Card, Guest Card / Guest Code
•The Mother Card is used to create a Master card.
•The Master Card and Guest Card are use to open the door. The same
card can be share by all the locks. (Lock just memory card ID)
◘Create Mother Card
Press “Reset” button, touch the card tend to be the Mother Card. (All
the cabinets can share the same Mother Card)
◘To Close (Create Guest Card / Guest Code)
In unlock state, touch the unoccupied card. The lock locked. The card
becomes Guest Card. (For the code lock, in unlock state, input your
code, the lock locked.)
◘To Open (Terminate Guest Card / Guest Code)
Touch your Guest Card, the lock unlocked. This Guest Card access
authority canceled. (For the code lock, in locked state, input your code,
the lock unlocked. Your code access authority cancelled.)
