WHAT IS THE BIG IDEA? Use Seam Grip to repair sleeping pads and inflatables anywhere you go “My sleeping pad deflated last night and my back is killing me” Don’t let busted-up gear ruin your time outdoors

5 MINUTE FACT A 20/80 mix of liquid soap and water is ideal for locating bubbles and identifying leaks. NUTS & BOLTS Locate the leak. Fill up the air mattress or sleeping pad with air. Spray water on a small section of the mattress or mat. STEP 1

5 MINUTE FAC T Still having trouble locating the leak? Try spraying around the valve, as this area is a common source of leaks. NUTS & BOLTS Look for any bubbles. If you see bubbles rising from the sleeping pad or air mat after applying the water, dry this area and mark it with a pen or marker. STEP 2

5 MINUTE FAC T To deflate a self-inflating air mattress , open the nozzle and roll the mat towards the nozzle. Once it is all rolled up, close the nozzle to prevent it from re-inflating. NUTS & BOLTS STEP 3 Once you have identified the leaks, deflate the sleeping pad or air mattress .

5 MINUTE FACT Isopropyl alcohol is a mild solvent that easily removes dirt, residue and body oils from fabrics and surfaces. This dirt, oil and residue will prevent a solid bond, so cleaning with a mild solvent is important. NUTS & BOLTS Clean the repair area with isopropyl alcohol to remove any dirt or body oils which may prevent a good bond. STEP 4

5 MINUTE FACT Seam Grip is an award-winning seam sealer and repair adhesive that will typically outlast the life of the material it is applied to. When making a home repair with Seam Grip, a patch is not required. NUTS & BOLTS Once clean and dry, apply a thin layer of Seam Grip® over the leak (extending at least ½’’ in all directions of the rip, tear or hole) and allow to dry flat and untouched for 12 hours . STEP 5
