2. What is a reformat?

Reformatting a computer means
completely erasing the hard drive and
reinstalling the operating system and all

other applications and files.

3. Common reasons why computer should
be format?

+ Your computer is running slow
+ Your hard drive is full

+ Too many errors
« To upgrade your system

4. CHANGE BOOT ORDER

First we need to change the boot
sequence to be able to install a windows
operating system to our computer

5. INSERT A CD/DVD OR A USB

To boot from a CD/DVD or a USB drive, you must insert or connect the CD/DVD or
USB drive first and then restart or turn on your computer.

NOTE

Insert the Disc media or USB drive that contain the windows operating system.
Make sure you have the product key when you're ready to install.

6. TURN ON YOUR PC

Press your PC’s power button and wait until you see an image appear on the
monitor.

NOTE

Some wireless keyboard or USB keyboard may not work before Windows loads,
so use a wired keyboard or PS2 keyboard if possible.
