How to Restrict Price Modification to Managers in Odoo 17 POS

This slide will represent the price control functionality in Odoo 17 PoS module. This feature provides the opportunity to restrict price adjustments. We can limit pricing changes to managers exclusively with it.

2. Introduction Enterpr ise This slide will represent the price control functionality in Odoo 17 PoS module. This feature provides the opportunity to restrict price adjustments. We can limit pricing changes to managers exclusively with it.

3. Enterprise To restrict the price modification to managers, we can enable the option from the settings by clicking on the edit option.

4. Enterprise By clicking on Configuration->Settings, we can move to the settings page.

5. Enterprise We can enable the price control option. Now, the only people who can change the product prices are the managers.

6. Enterprise After enabling the multi employees per session to switch between employees, we have assigned Beth Evans and Marc Demo under advanced rights to give the manager right whereas Anita Oliver is given normal cashier rights.

7. Enterprise Since the Multiple employees per session is enabled, we will add the pin code to login to the session for employees from the HR settings tab in employee module.

8. Enterprise Next, we can open a session either by scanning a badge or choosing cashier and then providing the pin.

9. Enterprise If the employee Beth Evans is logged in, he can modify the price of the product because he have the manager right.

10. Enterprise Now, if Anita Oliver log in, the button to modify the price is disabled. This is how we restrict the employees from modifying the prices.
