2.   Scopus  is  Elsevier ’s  abstract and citation database  launched in 2004. Scopus covers nearly 39,647 titles from approximately 11,678 publishers, subject fields :  life sciences ,  social sciences ,  physical sciences  and  health sciences .

3. Coverage : It covers three types of sources:  book series ,  journals , and  trade journals .   Measurements : Scopus gives four types of quality measure for each title; those are   h -Index ,  CiteScore , SJR ( SCImago Journal Rank ) and SNIP ( Source Normalized Impact per Paper ).

Clarivate Analytics Clarivate Analytics is a company that owns and operates a collection of subscription-based services focused largely on analytics , including scientific and academic research, patent analytics, regulatory standards, trademark protection, pharmaceutical and biotechnology intelligence , domain brand protection and intellectual property management.

23. The  JCR   provides quantitative tools for ranking, evaluating, journals. The impact factor is a measure of the frequency with which the “average article” in a journal has been cited in a particular year or period. The impact factor of a journal is calculated by dividing the number of current year citations to the source items published in that journal during the previous two years .

The larger version Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE) covers over 8,500 significant journals across 150 scientific disciplines, from 1900 to the present. SSCI stands for Social Science Citation Index , which covers over 3,000 academic journals across more than 50 disciplines in the social sciences
