PLAYER POSITIONS
The goalkeeper is a versatile player who defends the goal using various body parts, ensuring the ball is only touched with their feet. (They can only use their feet to move the ball around) GOAL KEEPER
Goalkeepers are the only players allowed to use their hands inside their own penalty area, but only under certain conditions. They can use their hands to catch a ball directly from a teammate or to stop an opponent's shot. But if they pick up the ball with their hands outside their penalty area, they can't then run with it or pass it with their hands. They have to pass or kick it with their feet. This rule is designed to make the game more exciting and balanced. If goalkeepers could use their hands freely outside the penalty area, they would have too much control over the ball and the other team would struggle to get close to the goal. GOAL KEEPER
