4. CAUSES OF CLIMATE CHANGE.
Some of the major cause include:
• Deforestation- cutting down of trees in large areas.
• Industrial emissions- release of harmful substances into the
environment e.g Engodwana manufacturing factories releasing CO2
into the atmosphere.
• Burning fossil fuels- primary driver of climate change.
- burning fossil fuels like oil and coal
- e.g coal is a major sources for production of
electricity, this releases large amount of CO2.

8. HOW CAN CLIMATE CHANGE BE PREVENTED?
• Phase out fossil fuels and embrace renewable energy sources
like solar.
• Switch to electric cars powered by renewable energy.
• Protect and restore forests.
