2. HYPOTHESIS A premise or a claim that we want to test or investigate. defined as a proposed explanation (may or may not be true) for a phenomenon that can be used as a basis for further verification or investigation.

4. Null Hypothesis (Ho) Currently accepted value for a parameter states that there is no difference between a parameter and a statistic, or that there is no difference between two parameters.

5. Alternative Hypothesis (Ha) Also called as Research Hypothesis states the existence of a difference between a parameter and a statistic or states that there is a difference between two parameters.
