Current IILB portal Weaknesses • Limited availability of real-time data on land parcels. • Too complex for an user. • Important functionalities does not work. • Limited user engagement features. Opportunities • Improved user experience with intuitive interface. •Real-time updates on land availability and infrastructure status and online application. •Strengthening collaboration with local authorities and industry associations. •Portal revamping by considering different personas. Strengths • Centralized platform for accessing information on industrial land parcels. • Offers transparency in land availability, infrastructure, and regulatory requirements. • Contact details of concerned authority for ease of application submission. KEY HIGHLIGHTS OF PORTAL SWO ANALYSIS OF PORTAL Search and Filter Options Users can search for industrial land parcels based on location, size, infrastructure availability, and sector. Proposed enhancements I would like to suggest the following three modules for updating the IILB portal: Module 1: When a user requests a deeper examination of industrial plots, then only GIS-based map search will be displayed. However, the user should first be given a more comprehensive view of industrial parks arranged according to their locations with actual photos and some crucial information that is first relevant. (Inspiration taken from German analogous of Invest India/IILB). Kindly refer the attached document to view the idea’s UI. Module 2: According to the preceding slide, the portal has overlooked eight important criteria that investors consider when choosing a land piece. These missed eight factors can be accommodated in solution 1 and economic data such as population density data, employment rate, supply chain data, labour market dynamics, etc. can be included to help investor. Module 3 : Other missing items that should be incorporated in accordance with priority: 1. Redirection or on- site land parcel buy/lease application process 2. Dashboard to showcase upcoming new projects 3. Case studies / Success Stories of successful clients. (Low hanging fruit) 4. Collaboration portal : To build network among investors, industry experts, govt officials, etc. 5. Highlighting of parks with great connectivity - Integration with portals like PM Gati Shakti, Sagar Setu , etc. 6. Continuous improvement -Innovation, Update as per market dynamics. 7. Feedback Mechanism 8. Multilingual support for portal. 9. Accessibility features: To accommodate users with disabilities 10. Virtual site Visits. 11. Investment Calculator.
