About This Presentation

To marginalize the role of a woman in Indian patriarchy.
I don’t see it as a society that oppresses men; more a society that values instinct as much as intellect, receptivity as much as assertiveness, collaboration as much as individualism and empathy as much as objectivity.

ABSTRACT A researcher identifies that the woman occupies an important position as a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, and most importantly, as a human being in all human relationships. However, man-woman relationship is marred by the evils such as male-ego , male-domination and gender-discrimination which seek to marginalize the role of a woman in Indian patriarchy. The present article is an attempt to review the place, position and status of an Indian woman in her family and society.

What does if a society run by women look like? It appears things are changing. Because if you're looking for a society run by  women , you could be looking at - O ne all around you -- or at least the rapid  evolution  toward one. They make the decisions, they drive the economy and they rule the politics -- basically the flipside of patriarchies everyone stands on equal footing and works in partnership with one another it's unfair to assume a matriarchy would look anything like a patriarchy in practice

WOMEN CAN STILL BECOME THE LEADERS THEY ARE MEANT TO BE. Working to bring more women into leadership is an important way to advance the cultural change we need. That means identifying prospective leaders and mentoring them through the sometimes-difficult early years of their leadership development.

WOMEN WOULD NEVER BE THE VICTIM – IN INDIA There will be no sexual assault, no catcalling, no mansplaining’ ‘Women tend to make more holistic decisions’ ‘Women ensure sustainability for future generations’ ‘Women are taking their rightful place as equals’

CONCLUSION   I don’t see it as a society that oppresses men; more a society that values instinct as much as intellect, receptivity as much as assertiveness, collaboration as much as individualism and empathy as much as objectivity .
