Improper fraction to mixed number
1.Divide the numerator by the denominator
e.g. 27 ÷ 5 = 5 r 2
2.The whole number of the answer becomes the whole
number of the mixed number
3.The remainder of the answer becomes the
numerator to the fraction part of the mixed number
4.The denominator of the improper fraction is the same
as the denominator to the fraction part of the mixed
number.
