NOTIFICATION

Applications are invited from the eligible applicants for filing up of posts
of Postal Assistants/Sorting Assistonts/Postal Assistants (Savings Bank Control
rgonization)/Postal Assistants (Foreign Post Organizalion)/Postal Assistants. (Returned
Letter Offices)/Postol Assistants (Mail Motor Services) And Postal Assistants (Circle And
Regional Offices] for the year 2013-2014 in 22 Postal Circles in the Country in the Pay
Band 5200-20200 with 2400 Grade Pay + other admissible allowonces for the years
2013-2014

2. Age limit: 18-27 years: {a) For General Category (Unreserved Applicants ) the
‘opplicable relaxation is provided to persons belonging lo SC/ST/OBC/PH/Ex-servicemen
Candidates as per the extont orders. The age limit will be as on 27/03/2014

3. Educational Qualification: (1) — 10+2 standard or 12* class poss from a
recognized university or Board of School Education or Board of Secondary Education
with English os o compulsory subject (excluding vocational streams)

(2) The appliconts should have studied local language of the Stale or Union Territory
of the concerned Postal Circle or in Hindi as o subject at least in Matriculation level or
equivalent.

fee etc. The Applications are to be submitted on line ond the registration
commences from 00:00 hrs of 26/2/2014 and closes by 23:59 Hours of 27"
