AI Limitations
LACK OF REAL-WORLD UNDERSTANDING
AI models are primarily trained on large amounts of text
While impressive at generating grammatically correct
output, they may struggle with context-specific language
use, social and cultural appropriateness, and subtle humor
or sarcasm.

POTENTIAL FOR BIAS AND MISINFORMATION
Reflects biases in training data:
If an AI model is trained on data that contains biases
(racial, gender, etc.), it may continue in using these in its
output. This can have significant negative implications in
language learning.
Limited fact-checking:
While AI tools can provide information, they may not always
have reliable mechanisms for verifying accuracy.

Prioritizes fluency over depth:
Generative AI might excel at producing grammatically
correct, well-structured sentences, but it may lack the
ability to develop complex ideas, express personal
opinions, or craft texts with a clear communicative
purpose.

champions of human communication and connection.
