designed and planned turn-key residential projects, such as kitchen and bath remodels. involved in every phase of
the design process working closely with clients, general contractors, and vendors - from preliminary stages to
project installation and completion. required ability to understand and develop design solutions, application of 3D
rendering software, team coordination, and multi-project management.
advised customers on design factors such as space planning and utilization of the furniture and accessories offered
based on customer’s needs/requests. used the company’s swatch program for custom fabric selections. established
and maintained relationships with independent interior designers. completed regular design exercises for seasonal
product launches and helped with merchandising.
developed various publications including things such as magazine ads, flyers, pamphlets, monthly calendar cards,
members’ opening invitations, etc. designed the museum’s new visitors’ guide and contributed to a large booklet
for the museum’s permanent collection. interviewed several artists for gallery openings and attended regular art
talks and creative workshops with other interns.
designed save-the-dates, invitations, tickets, etc. for the organization’s annual event, tea for trust, for the years of
2015 and 2016 - an event that helps raise money for homeless veterans
