make this a part of regular development
planning and budgeting

4. Peer Learning Forums
•South-South peer learning and
exchange on the challenges and
opportunities associated with NAP
processes.
•Global level convenings: teams of
adaptation policy-makers and
practitioners from developing countries
in all regions, with development
partners and technical experts.

5. This Peer Learning Forum’s
Objectives
Participants will:
•Better understand the relationship between the
NAP and the adaptation component of the NDC ,
and the opportunities and benefits of linking
adaptation-related planning processes.
•Exchange experiences and lessons learned with
country representatives who lead the development and
updating of NAPs and NDCs.
•Identify and map entry points for NAP-NDC
alignment, including the integration of gender
equality and social inclusion (GESI) considerations.
•Understand how the NAP process can enhance the
quality of adaptation information in the updated
NDCs.
