Guided wave radar level meter This kind of level meter has the
of high precision, high reliability, long life, etc. It is widely used in
chemical, petroleum, food, pharmaceutical and other industries for level
measurement.
The module composition of guided wave radar level meter is the core part
to realize the measurement function, which mainly includes signal
transmitting module, signal receiving module, data processing module
communication module.
I. Signal Transmitter Module
Signal transmitting module is an important part of guided wave radar
meter, its main function is to generate high frequency electromagnetic
wave and transmit it to the measured material through antenna. The
module usually uses voltage controlled oscillator (VCO) or crystal
oscillator to generate electromagnetic wave signals.
At the same time, the signal transmitting module also has a power control
function, which can adjust the electromagnetic wave transmitting power
according to the actual needs.
II. Signal receiving module
The main function of the signal receiving module is to receive the
reflected electromagnetic wave signals and convert them into electrical
signals. The module usually adopts ultra-aberrant receiver or
zero-medium frequency receiver, which is characterized by high
sensitivity and low noise.
The reflected electromagnetic wave signals are converted into electrical
signals suitable for subsequent processing after amplification, filtering,
frequency mixing and other processing by the receiver. The performance
of the signal receiving module directly affects the measurement accuracy
and reliability of the guided wave radar level meter.
III. Data-processing module
The data processing module is the core part of the guided wave radar
level meter, and its main function is to process and analyze the received
electrical signals to extract the height information of the material. The
module usually uses digital signal processing (DSP) or field
programmable gate array (FPGA) and other technologies to realize signal
processing and algorithm operation.
The height information of the material can be calculated by analyzing the
reflected electromagnetic wave signal in time and frequency domains.
The processing speed and accuracy of the data processing module
determine the overall performance of the guided wave radar level meter.
IV. Communication module
The main function of the communication module is to realize the data
transmission and control between the guided wave radar level meter and
the host computer. The module usually adopts communication protocols
such as RS485, RS232 or Ethernet to realize data transmission and
remote control.
Through the communication module, the measured data can be
transmitted to the upper computer for display, storage and analysis, and it
can also receive the control commands from the upper computer to
realize remote control and parameter setting and other functions.
The module composition of the guided wave radar level meter is the core
part of its realization of the measurement function, mainly including the
signal transmitting module, signal receiving module, data processing
module and communication module. These modules work together to
complete the level measurement.
Understanding and mastering the module composition of the guided wave
radar level meter will help to better apply and maintain this measurement
instrument and improve the accuracy and reliability of measurement.
