01.07.1995
Educational qualification:-
•A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognised by
the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by
the Central Government.
•Minimum 60%

11. MAINS EXAMINATION :
Main Examination will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks
and Descriptive Test for 50 marks.Both the Objective and
Descriptive Tests will be online. Candidates will have to
answer Descriptive Test by typing on the computer.
Immediately after completion of Objective Test, Descriptive
Test will be administered.

13. Pattern of the Mains Descriptive Test
•The descriptive paper will be of 30 minutes duration with
50 marks assigned to the test of English Language. You
will be tested on Letter Writing & Essay. You will be
needed to secure passing marks to qualify the
Descriptive Test, to be decided by the Bank.
•NOTE: The Descriptive Test paper of only those
candidates will be evaluated who have scored qualifying
marks in the Objective Tests and are placed adequately
high as per total marks in Objective Test.

Office Assistant:-
The examination will be held online. Candidates who will
qualify in online examination will subsequently be called for a
Common Interview to be conducted by the Nodal Regional
Rural Bank in each State/UT, coordinated by IBPS.

For Office Assistant (Multipurpose) - Between 18 years and 28 years i.e.
candidates should have not been born earlier than 02.07.1987 and later
than 01.07.1997 (both dates inclusive)
Educational Qualifications :
•Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its
equivalent
•Essential: Proficiency in local language as prescribed by the participating
RRB/s *
•Desirable: Knowledge of Computer skills.

equivalent.Preference will be given to the candidates having degree
in :-Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry,
Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture,
Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology,
Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy;
•Proficiency in local language as prescribed by the participating
RRB/s *
•Computer knowledge or awareness will be an added qualification.

31. IBPS PO Mains – Descriptive Test
The descriptive paper will be of 30 minutes duration with 25
marks assigned to the test of English Language. You will be tested
on Letter Writing & Essay. You will be needed to secure passing
marks to qualify the Descriptive Test, to be decided by the Bank.
NOTE: The Descriptive Test paper of only those candidates will be
