Problem Identification Traditional security systems rely on cameras and motion sensors placed on walls or ceilings, making it possible for intruders to bypass them by crawling or using disguises. This project aims to address this issue by implementing a hidden, tamper-resistant anti-theft system within the flooring. The specific problems to be addressed are: Unauthorized Access Detection Real-time Alerts Concealment and Tamper Resistance User-Friendly Interface

Observation and Motivation The IoT-based anti-theft flooring system using Arduino enhances security by detecting unauthorized movement through piezoelectric sensors embedded in the floor. Traditional security systems often overlook floor-based intrusion, making this approach innovative and effective. The system integrates an ESP8266 Wi-Fi module for real-time alerts, ensuring immediate response to potential threats. It can also trigger automated actions like alarms or locking mechanisms via a servo motor. This cost-effective and scalable solution is ideal for securing homes, offices, and high-security areas, leveraging IoT technology to prevent theft and unauthorized access efficiently.

Objective of the project The objective of the project “IoT Based Anti-theft Flooring System using Arduino, Piezoelectric, and ESP32-CAM Module” is to design and implement a security system that can detect unauthorized entry or theft attempts in a specific area, such as a room or building, using a combination of hardware components and IoT technology. The system aims to provide real-time alerts and visual evidence of any suspicious activity through the integration of Arduino, Piezoelectric sensors, and an ESP32-CAM module.

e xisting methodology Traditional security systems primarily rely on CCTV cameras, motion sensors, and alarm systems to detect unauthorized access. These methods include: CCTV Surveillance: Monitors premises using video cameras. Infrared Motion Sensors: Detect movement using heat signatures. Pressure-sensitive Mats: Trigger an alarm when stepped on. RFID or Biometric Access: Restricts access using identity verification
