INTRODUCTION The Internet Of Things (IOT) is the network of physical objects-devices, vehicles, buildings and other items embedded with electronics, software, sensors and network connectivity that enables these objects to collect and exchange data. This project proposes a the city roads and read the traffic data and send it to the displays or road signs which are -digital led boards providing information about all data.

ABSTRACT The main Aim of this project is to avoid Accidents on highways. Many of the surveys clearly says that most accident occur near some zones like school zones, restaurant zones etc . The main object of the propose system is to prevent accident by sensing the nearby zones through signal or message alert through Wi-Fi technology .

PROBLEM STATEMENT In traffic junction, we can see red, orange and green lights along with the displaying timer. The traffic as to wait for a fixed period of time to make a move. For example, one as to wait for a fixed period of time even though the traffic is more in that particular lane. This leads to “TRAFFIC JAM” which is a major problem. This also leads to accidents .

EXSISTING SYSTEM Traffic-signal control systems coordinate individual traffic signals to achieve network-wide traffic operations objectives. Therefore, a critical institutional component of Traffic Signal Control is the establishment of formal or informal arrangements to share traffic control information as well as actual control of traffic signal operation across jurisdictions In addition to control of traffic signals, modern systems also provide wide ranging surveillance capabilities, including various kinds of traffic detection and video surveillance.

ADVANTAGES This type of traffic system can tell the preferable routes to the people at almost real time. Less maintenance They provide access to the intersection signal controller for maintenance and operations to monitor from remote

FUTURE SCOPE In this project, a novel idea is proposed for monitoring the accident over the road Landslide and water overflow on bridge is detected with the help of using different sensors. Also with the help of GSM modem, message will be sent to the natural disaster management, hospital, police station and message is also displayed on the LED display
