2. PRINCIPLES & PRACTICE
Astrology is based upon the premise that the location of some
astronomical bodies occurring at the time & place of a particular
individual’s birth influences or is correlated with his or her
personality, physical characteristics, health & future destiny.
The Astrologers prepare
Horoscope for a
particular individual on
the basis of the location
of some heavenly bodies
occurring at the time &
place of that individual’s
birth.
At the moment of his or her birth, his or her future is ascertained
according to that horoscope.
So, the birth moment is very important.

3. HOW OLD ?
•Astrology has been dated to at least the 2

Millennium BCE.
•Its roots in Calendric systems used to predict
seasonal shifts & to interpret celestial cycles as signs
of divine communications.
•Western astrology (19

-17
th
century BCE)
Mesopotamia ancient Greece, Rome, Arab World,
Central and western Europe.
•Hindu’s, Chinese & Mayan Civilizations developed
elaborate systems for predicting terrestrial events
from celestial observations.
•Astrologer’s define “Astrology” as symbolic
language, an art form, a science, a method of
divination.

BY THE MOTION OF EACH PLANET
They thought that the

their own. This give rise
to the belief that

•This model positioned
the sun at the centre of
the universe, motionless,
with earth & the other
planet’s orbiting around
it in Circular Paths,
modified by epicycles, &
at uniform speeds.

The tropical zodiac has no connection to the stars. The signs of the zodiac
are not real. They merely star patterns or Star constellations as they appear
from earth. The stars do not lie in a plane.
They are empty boxes. They have nothing to do with anything.
Constellations –88 , Zodiacal –12
The Astrologers remain silent about the influence of the remaining 76
constellations on the life of an individual.
……No logic & justification in associating any constellation with any living or
non-living object.
Hence the basic premise of astrology can not be true.
