Digital Nomad Visa Note fully operative yet , Consulates do not accept obligation until Ministry updates online application system. It will be dififuclt to obtain because Conuslates will receive many applications and the criteriafor issuance are uclear and lefr to the decisin of each Consulate . Elective Residence Visa (ERV) This visa is for those who want to live in Italy without working. ERV requires the applicant to show a minimum passive income (i.e. not deriving from work or salary ) of not less than € 31,000/ year and to have a suitable accommodation ( no need to purchase a property ). Investors’ Visa The Investors’ Visa can be obtained by: (i) purchasing € 2 million Gov.t bonds; or (ii) investing € 500 K shares/capital increase of a company or € 250 K in a “ innovative start-up ”; or (iii) donating € 1 million in philanthropic projects of public interest . Start-up visa F or non-EU nationals intending to set up an innovative start-up business. The applicant must (i) prove the availability of at least € 50,000 (ii) submit a detailed «innovative» business plan. Self- employment visas This visa can be applied for by individuals who are freelance. The issuance of the visa is subject to Italy’s yearly quota- syste and less than 500 quotas are available each year Blue Card permit Highly skilled non EU citizens can be hired by a company with no yearly cap. Requirements are: (i) minimum 6 months job offer (ii ) worker must have a 3 years diploma or proven professional experience (iii) yearly salary not less than > € 2,000 gross ITALY – Visa options for individuals
