Patent Analyst Program
This program is designed to prepare participants for entry level jobs in IPR sector especially as
Patent Analyst or Patent Engineers. Patent Analysts are employed by various Knowledge Process
Outsourcing (KPOs), Legal Process Outsourcing (LPO), IPR Firms, Law Firms, IT Companies and
every MNCs with RnD centers etc. Under this program participants will be provided with
professional skills of patent searching tools and techniques. This is a highly job oriented program
and at the end of program participants are assisted for placement drives in various companies.
This training program requires strong technical background as participants will be working on
patent searching projects in their scientific domain.
After basic understanding of patent law and structure, participants will be learning various
types of searches like prior art searching, infringement analysis, freedom to operate analysis
etc.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates completed science graduation or post graduation are eligible for this program.
Candidates pursuing B. Sc / M. Sc / B. Tech / M.tech / B. Pharma/ M.Pharma / PhD are eligible
to apply for this program.
Working Professionals desire to enter into IPR are also eligible for weekend program.
Candidates from industrial domains like biotechnology, pharmacy, microbiology, bio-
informatics, life-sciences, mechanical, electrical, electronics, computer science, information
technology etc. are eligible for this program.

After successful completion of programs participants are given placement assistance for the job profile
of “Patent Analyst” or “Patent Associate” or “Patent Researcher”.
Salary Compensation range 2 lakh per annum to 6 lakh per annum, depending on qualification, technical
background and work experience.

Two months
Classes will be conducted Monday to Friday 1000 hours-1400 hours.
Weekend batch will be conducted on Saturday from 1000 hours- 1800 hours.

Following is the admission procedure for any and all the courses at Indian Institute of Patent and
Trademark Attorney
Step #1: Creation of User ID at IIPTA.com portal. < Link to user ID creation page > and completion of the
form attached.
Step #2: Filling the form and field of the profile by the student with true and correct information as be
best knowledge of the student.
Step #3: Conformation from the student to join the course via email or phone.
Step #4: Creation of course order by IIPTA, resulting in creation and emailing of the invoice for the
complete fee amount of the course.

Step #5: Payment of the course fee by the student via DD, Cash or Bank Transfer.
Step #6: Every payment (part or full) will result in a payment receipt which will be emailed to the
student on the registered email id. The remaining balance in case of part payment (applicable only in
case of classroom course) can be seen from the "My Order" tab on the "My Dashboard" page.
Step #7: Once the payment is done in full, the admission will be complete and start up kit will be
handed over to the student.
