Budget Estimates for 2021-22 In 2021-22, the outstanding debt is expected to be 37.4% of the GSDP, higher than the revised estimate for 2020- 21 (36.1% of GSDP). The outstanding debt is estimated to increase from 29.8% in 2018-19 to 37.4% in 2021- 22.

In 2021-22, payments towards salaries are estimated to increase by 42% over the revised estimates of 2020-21.
